Leadership and Supervisory Training Held at Morogoro

In its effort to improve communication and managerial skills of its principal and senior staff, the NSSF Management has once again carried out a pointed leadership and supervisory skills course. The one-week long training took place at Morogoro Hotel and was conducted by a renowned US-based Tanzanian communications scholar Prof. Nicholls Boaz.

The training was designed to add value in employee’s professional work performance in the organization. As part of professional development, trainings are offered each year to improve and motivate employees to be the best at their work place

It exposed participants (middle level management) to effective communication skills that are significant in carrying out and maintaining professional work ethics at NSSF. It was designed to sharpen the knowledge base for each participant both in leadership and supervisory skills necessary to perform well in their assigned duties.

Meanwhile, the Fund has sponsored a Customer-Care Training for its newly hired staff to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills to handle customers. The training was carried out recently at the Paradise Hotel within the Benjamin William Mkapa Building. The course was conducted by a well-known marketing professional Mrs Joyce Nyabongo.
